PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Lab at Granby High School in Norfolk

Granby High School was one of 26 schools across the nation (and the only school in Virginia) selected to participate in the PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Lab project.  The Labs connect high school students to local PBS stations to produce original, student-generated news video reports.  Students enrolled in a Granby journalism class taught by Paula Eisen and mentored by WHRO Producer Lisa Godley spent the 2011 – 2012 school year researching and producing reports about the impacts of the dropout crisis and other related topics.
